The Pakistan Cricket team is well known for their excitable in international cricket. While this may come as a shortcoming in Tests and ODI format, it provides them with an edge in T20 cricket.

They lost the title clash against India in the inaugural season of the World Cup. However, they came back stronger to win it a few years later.

Meanwhile, Pakistani cricketers are making it big in franchise cricket all over the world. However, they got restricted from playing in the Indian Premier League (IPL) due to political reasons. The prerogative of the ruling class has affected the cricketers the most. They are debarred from taking part in IPL due to the constant rise in tensions.

Also, they participated in the first edition and was loved by the Indian fans. Sohail Tanvir bagged the Purple Cap with his outstanding bowling effort. Since then, Pakistani cricketers had not played in IPL.

However, Indian fans are excited to see cricketers from neighbouring countries play in the cash-rich league.

An explosive batsman, Fakhar can bowl some left-arm spin. The swashbuckling opener can hit the balls miles and can score runs quickly.

In his short stint with Pakistan, he has proved his ability scoring runs at a strike-rate of 123.11 in T20 format. He played a magical knock of 114-runs off just 106 balls against India in the Champions Trophy final.

Fakhar has represented many T20 franchises all over the world and is a force to reckon with in T20 cricket.

Shoaib Malik:

Starting as a specialist spinner, Malik took long strides in the batting order. He brings an immense experience with himself, playing cricket all over the world.

Malik also played for Delhi Daredevils in the first edition of IPL. Although, he did not have a good stint but is recognized as a powerhouse in this format.

Malik brings a sense of calmness to first moving aspect of T20 cricket. He is a pillar in the middle-order and can chip in with few economical overs.

The stylish right-hander made his way up through the age groups to become one of the best Pakistani batsmen in the current scenario.

Known for his attacking mode, Pakistani cricketer skipper Sarfraz Ahmed recently called him ‘Chota cheeku’. Cheeku is the nickname of Indian skipper Virat Kohli.

Azam has an astonishing record to his name in T20 cricket. He has scored 577 runs in 17 matches at an average of 48.08.

An aggressive top-order batsman, Shehzad has played T20 cricket all over the world with great authority. Although he lacks a bit of consistency, Shehzad is an exciting batsman to watch.

Also, he has an outstanding record to back his ability. He has scored 1416 runs in 55 games including one hundred.

Mohammad Hafeez:
