Cricketers React After MS Dhoni Plays a Match Winning Knock Against RCB

It was a special inning from Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni which helped CSK keep their winning momentum intact in the 11^th edition of Indian Premier League. The former Indian skipper rolled back the years and displayed the old vintage Dhoni. He smashed 7 gigantic sixes during his 34 balls 70. It was carnage on display. The Bangalore bowlers kept bowling in his areas and Captain Cool kept smashing sixes after sixes.

Earlier in the day, it was some exceptional batting by AB de Villiers and Quinton de Kock which propelled Bangalore to a mammoth score of 204 in their allotted 20 overs. De Villiers smashed 68 of 30 deliveries and literally toyed with the Chennai bowlers. Mandeep Singh also played a breezy inning which helped Bangalore go past the 200 mark.

He added another in the very next over of Corey Anderson which went sailing over the deep mid wicket fielder. It was carnage on display from Dhoni. In the next over of Pawan Negi, he smashed the first two deliveries for gigantic sixes which helped CSK slowly but steadily claw their way back into the match. Sixes kept flowing from his blade. Rayudu also joined in the act and struck some lusty blows.

After a brilliant partnership of 101 runs between Rayudu and Dhoni, the former was run out for the 3^rd time in the tournament. It was a brilliant throw by Umesh Yadav which sent him back to the pavilion. Dwayne Bravo joined Dhoni in the middle with CSK needing 30 of the last couple. It was a sensational sliced six from MS Dhoni in the penultimate over of Mohammed Siraj which totally put him under immense pressure.

Siraj ended up bowling three consecutive wide deliveries which brought the calculation down to 16 of the final over. Bravo began with a four and six in the first two deliveries which shifted the scales in favour of Chennai. He took a single of the 3^rd delivery. Now it was all up to Dhoni to finish off the deal. He did that in style. Dhoni shuffled across the off stump and deposited the length delivery from Corey Anderson straight over the deep mid-wicket fielder.
