David Warner Urges His Hyderabad Teammate Rashid Khan to Come Good in BBL7

Teenage Afghan sensation Rashid Khan has been a top performer for his nation and a large part of Afghanistan’s success in the recent past has been due to some exceptional bowling performances by Rashid Khan. Following success in international cricket, Rashid was roped in for a whopping sum of Rs 4 crores for the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 2017 IPL auctions. It was a great achievement for Rashid, and he made an immediate impact in the tournament by producing some exceptional performances.

Rashid bagged a total of 17 wickets in the 10th season of IPL at an impressive average of 21 and a healthy economy rate of fewer than seven runs per over. He bamboozled top-class batsmen for a consistent period with some exceptional deliveries and variations. A particular delivery which made headlines was a quicker delivery which breached David Miller’s defence and castled the timbers.

Rashid also boasts of an impressive record in the Caribbean Premier League and on the back of some impressive performances for his nation and franchises across the world, Rashid was picked by the Adelaide Strikers in the 7th season of the Big Bash League. Rashid played the first match for Adelaide Strikers today against the Sydney Thunder in the 4th match of the season.

Rashid’s skipper in the Indian Premier League, David Warner who is currently busy with national assignments against England, wished his IPL teammate and urged him to give his best in the Big Bash League. Warner shared a picture of Rashid on his twitter handle and wrote, “Come on @rashidkhan_19.”

Rashid bagged a couple of wickets today in the form of Ryan Gibson and Ben Rohrer as he finished with impressive figures of 2/22 in his allotted four overs. Eventually, it was an exceptional bowling performance by the Adelaide Strikers which handed them a comprehensive victory in the end by 53 runs. Ben Laughlin was the pick of the Strikers bowlers bagging four wickets.
