I want it to be investigated thoroughly: Mohammad Shami

Indian fast bowler Mohammad Shami has called for a thorough investigation into the claims made by his wife, Hasin Jahan. Meanwhile, Kolkata Police has started their investigation by allegation brought by Hasin.

Further, Hasin also lodged an FIR against Shami for an attempt to murder or rape by the police. Meanwhile, Shami has come out in public and denied all the allegation brought against him.

I want thorough investigation:

Shami noted that he will not give any explanation and wanted a thorough investigation regarding this matter

“There have been many accusations which are increasing day-by-day. I don’t want to give an explanation about it and I want it to be investigated thoroughly,” Shami told ANI yesterday.

Meanwhile, Kolkata Police had booked Shami and his family members under non-bailable sections of the penal code on Friday. Also, Shami’s mother Anjuman-Ara-Begum, brother Hasib Ahamed, Hasib’s wife Shama, and Shabina Anjum, Shami’s sister named in the FIR.

Kolkata Police booked Shami under section 498 A (Husband or relative of Husband of a woman subjecting her to cruelty), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 307 (attempt to murder), 376(rape), 506 (criminal intimidation), 328 (causing hurt by means of poison), 34 (Acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of IPC.

Meanwhile, police booked Shami’s brother under section 376 of IPC against the allegations brought by Hasin.

Have full faith in BCCI:

Post the allegation, BCCI excluded Shami from the list of players receiving central contracts. However, Shami seemed not too perturbed by that at the moment.

“Have full faith on BCCI, whatever decision they take will be after much deliberation and investigation. I have no tension regarding that,” Shami said.

Further, Kolkata Police received an audio record of the telephonic conversation between Hasin and Shami. Later, members of the women’s grievance cell met Jahan and recorded her statement.

Meanwhile, Jahan on Marc 7 allegedly claimed that Shami has physically and mentally. She also claimed that he was involved in extra-marital affairs.
