The India Test player is in the last leg of gaining fitness and is all set to be fit for IPL,

“My recovery is on the last leg and I will be fit in a few more days. I am currently at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru and the medical team is assessing my progress on a daily basis. I can’t declare a time-frame for a week or 10 days. It depends on the physios and the several parameters of recovery. But the IPL is far away, I will be fit way before time,” Saha told Sportstar.

As Saha revealed, he would be fit in two weeks; he can play Irani Cup as well.

The tournament will not just give him practice ahead of IPL but will also keep him ahead of other wicketkeepers in the race to keep wickets.

The latter could not do well on his return, and with Karthik being called back, he is still in the race for Saha’s backup.

Meanwhile, Saha will represent Sunrisers Hyderabad in upcoming IPL season.

He was sold for an amount of Rs 5 Crore.

He was one of the top buys in wicketkeepers section.
