Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will miss their star bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar in the next tie against Mumbai Indians (MI), as they gear up to turn things in their favour after two back to back losses.

Meanwhile, after starting the tournament on a real high, Hyderabad has suffered two back to back defeats. They have struggled due to weak links in the batting unit.

The senior cricketers need to take the onus on themselves and do the job for their team. However, it is likely that Shikhar Dhawan will return to the first XI after recovering from the hand injury.

As they prepare for an important game against MI, they will receive a severe blow by Bhuvneshwar’s injury.

India’s premier pacer has been one of the leading cricketers in this SRH line-up. Over the years, he had done steamingly good for the side contributing in any way possible.

This year also he started the tournament pretty well. Kumar has already claimed six wickets in his four outings with an economy rate of 6.86.

According to team sources, the pace spearhead is suffering from a niggling back injury and will need some rest.

Bhuvi did not travel with the team and is not playing the next match. Shikhar we are hoping will be fine,” Williamson told a select group of reporters here.

Dhawan suffered a hit in the elbow during Sunrisers’ match against Kings XI Punjab and missed the CSK game.

Williamson backs Rashid:

The skipper comes in support of the young leg-spinner from Afghanistan, Rashid Khan. He got a good hammering in the last two games against KXIP and CSK.

Williamson admitted Rashid would bounce back and also said he would learn from this.

Rashid is a world class bowler. T20 cricket does not make exemptions for any bowler to escape pressure. Any bowler can be hit, so that’s the nature of the game and I suppose he has learned a huge amount in such a short period of time.

Last couple of games, it is been a couple of special knocks, (from) people, who have played Rashid nicely but he is a world-class bowler and will bounce back well. You need to embrace those challenges, and I know he will,” Williamson said.

Meanwhile, Hyderabad are fourth on the table having won three of their five games and lost the remaining two.
