Rajasthan Royals appointed Siraj Bahutule as their spin bowling coach.

Rajasthan Royals has appointed Sairaj Bahutule as their spin bowling coach, as they look to strengthen their support staff. Meanwhile, Royals are making a comeback after serving a two years ban.

Further, Bahutule is their latest addition to their support staff headed by Zubin Bharucha. Further, they also roped in Amol Mazumdar as a part of the supporting staff.

Post-retirement, Bahutule has worked with different states in the domestic circuit. Since three years, he had coached the Bengal side. During his time as the head coach, Bengal reached the quarter-finals and semi-finals of the Ranji Trophy.

Privilege to be part of Rajasthan Royals:

The 45-year old Bahutule admitted he is looking forward to work with the legendary Shane Warne.

It is a privilege to be part of Rajasthan Royals coaching staff. I am excited to be part of a team that has legendary Shane Warne as mentor. I am looking forward to work with the players and share my knowledge, guide them through as we prepare for the grueling season,” said Bahutule.

Meanwhile, Bahutule along with Royals’ Head of Cricket Zubin Bharucha will conduct three-day camp in Mumbai. More than 10 Rajasthan Royal players will take part in the camp.

Further, Bharucha welcomed Bahutule on board and admitted he brings a lot of experience as a player and coach.

‘I welcome Sairaj on board. He brings with him immense experience as a player and coach. The camp in Mumbai will be an ideal start to know the players closely, work on specifics and plan the season ahead,” Bharucha concluded.
