IPL 2018: Players Retained by Chennai Super Kings

Chennai Super Kings have retained Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Suresh Raina, and Ravindra Jadeja, it was confirmed on Thursday (January 4) during the player retention.

 

The team will have the option to buy two of their players at the auction with Right To Match (RTM) cards. According to the retention policy, the franchises can retain a maximum of five players by a combination of player retention and right-to-match (RTM) cards (during the auction).

The Chennai-based outfit is one of the most successful teams in the league. Before the two-year suspension in 2015, they lifted the IPL title twice (in 2010 and 2011).  Also, they have also won the Champions League Twenty20 in 2010 and 2014.
