Rajasthan Royals (RR) mentor Shane Warne has returned to Australia for a 10-day break amidst the busy schedule of the India Premier League (IPL).

Meanwhile, Warne has been on roads since March 1 commentating on the South Africa-Australia Test series. He headed straight to Indian and finishing his commitment in the Rainbow Nation.

Moreover, he is the part of the Rajasthan Royals, who had a mixed start to this edition. They lost two games out of four to begin the much-coveted league.

However, last night they suffered a humiliating defeat against Kolkata Knight Riders by seven wickets.

Batting first, they posted 160 for 8 after a good start provided by Ajinkya Rahane and D’Arcy Short. It was their middle-order, who has let them down so far in the IPL.

Kolkata spinners were on the mark as they contained runs in the middle-overs.

In reply, it was a cakewalk for the Kolkata batsmen. The top-order came good as they chased down the target with seven balls to spare.

Warne returns to Australia

After an intriguing time in South Africa, Warne came to India to mentor the Royals side. He also won the title with this team as a player in the first edition of the tournament.

Hello Melbourne. See you in 10 days India & will be back apart of the #IPL,” Warne tweeted.

In the absence of Warne, others coaches assigned for batting (Amol Muzumdar), spin bowling (Sairaj Bahutule) and fielding (Dishant Yagnik), will help the Royals through the coming matches. Zubin Bharucha, Head of Cricket of Rajasthan Royals, will monitor the entire process until his return.
