Right arm fast bowler Sandeep Sharma was sold to Sunrisers Hyderabad for a hefty amount of 3 crores. Sandeep Sharma is one of the most talented fast bowlers in the Indian domestic circuit. Sharma played for Kings XI Punjab in the previous IPL editions. Sharma made his IPL debut in 2013 for the Punjab based franchise. Sharma has played 56 matches for Kings XI Punjab and has picked up 71 wickets at an average of 22.35.

Sharma rose to fame in 2012 when he represented India in the 2012 Under-19 World Cup as he was one of India’s key player in the tournament. India also won the title in that edition. The 24-year-old Punjab based fast bowler is known for his swing bowling.

Sharma also made it to the Indian national side in 2015 when Team India toured Zimbabwe. He made his international debut in a T20 match against Zimbabwe. However, he did not have an impressive debut as he went wicketless bowling just three overs.

Sharma played for Kings XI Punjab in the last five editions of the Indian Premier League. But his journey with the franchise has ended as he was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad for 3 crores.

Sharma posted on Twitter account, “Happy and excited to be a part of the orange army @SunRisers”

Sharma will now partner Indian fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar in Sunrisers Hyderabad. Hyderabad replied to Sharma’s Tweet and wrote, “You and @BhuviOfficial can be the master swingers from both ends. We’re looking forward.”
