IPL Releases Anthem for 11th Edition of the Tournament

The 11th edition of the Indian Premier League is just 23 days away, and the fans will be gearing up for the extravaganza. The tournament has been arguably the greatest ever domestic tournament in the last decade or so. With 23 days left for the tournament to start, IPL has released their national anthem. Taking to the twitter handle, Star Sports released the song.

Meanwhile, it will be a new start to the tournament with many players shifting their bases to different franchises. It will be a new looked franchise with many new players in most of the teams. Kolkata Knight Riders, in particular, has employed a wholesome of changes and have appointed Dinesh Karthik as their skipper.

The defending champions Mumbai Indians for yet another time looks a strong contender to lift the title. They have retained the Pandya brothers, Kieron Pollard, Jasprit Bumrah and skipper Rohit Sharma. The Indian limited overs openers have been a sensational performer for his franchise and have led them from the front.

Kings XI Punjab and Delhi Daredevils will look for a turnaround in their fortunes alongside Royal Challengers Bangalore. Delhi and Punjab have been the most underperforming team in the last decade. Bangalore has played well in patches, but a victory title still eludes them.

It will be a crackerjack of competition, and the return of Chennai Super Kings will give a different aura to the tournament. Mahendra Singh Dhoni will be again leading the yellow brigade. The inaugural champions Rajasthan Royals have also returned after serving a 2-year ban.
