IPL 2018: 25th Match, SRH vs KXIP - Kings XI Punjab Predicted XI

In yet another exciting contest, Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) will lock horns with hosts Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH in the 25th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018.

Ravichandran Ashwin-led Punjab has had a good start to the ongoing season. The Men in Red has won five matches out of the six they have played so far. Thus, they are at the second place in the points table of the lucrative Twenty20 league.

Punjab will take on Sunrisers whom they have already beaten in the season in Mohali.

Subsequently, they will aim to repeat their last match performance against the Hyderabad-based outfit.

The Punjab franchise turned out to be a dominant force and would like to continue their impetus. They have checked all the right boxes and would aim to keep going in a similar fashion.

Here is a look at the Predicted Playing XI of the Kings XI Punjab.

Chris Gayle:

Chris Gayle was given a much-needed break in the last match. The Universe boss should make his way back into the final XI.

The T20 King had smashed a fine century in the last encounter when he faced SRH.

KL Rahul:

KL Rahul has also continued his good form going into the season.

The flamboyant opener has scored 236 runs thus far in the tournament. The wicketkeeper-batsman from Karnataka will look to continue his fine form going.

Mayank Agarwal:

Mayank Agarwal has looked good but he hasn’t been able to play a match-defining knock.

The Karnataka batsman had scored a truckload of runs in the domestic circuit and would like to capitalize on the opportunity.

Karun Nair:

Karun Nair has shown his class in the tournament. The stylish right-hander has got off to starts in almost every match.

Another batsman who hails from Karnataka scored 173 runs in the five innings.

Yuvraj Singh:

All eyes would be on a big Yuvraj Singh, who has failed to get his timing going in the 11th season.

The southpaw will like to get a good knock under his belt which will give him a shot in the arm.

Punjab will aim to continue their good form going.

Aaron Finch:

Aaron Finch was not able to make the most of the opportunity when he was given a chance to open the innings.

With Gayle likely to make a comeback, the Australian batsman will be pushed down the order.

Ravichandran Ashwin:

Ravichandran Ashwin has led KXIP from the front. The Punjab skipper bowled an economical spell in the last match as he conceded only 19 runs.

However, Ashwin went wicketless.

Andrew Tye:

Andrew Tye has impressed with his variations. The Australian fast bowler hasn’t let the batsmen off the hook.

Tye gave away just 25 runs and scalped two wickets against DD in the previous match.

Barinder Sran:

Barinder Sran was expensive in the last game as he conceded 45 runs in his allotted four overs.

However, the southpaw bowler came back strong in the penultimate over.

Ankit Rajpoot:

Ankit Rajpoot had a good outing in the last match. The lanky fast bowler scalped two wickets and gave away just 23 runs.

The fast bowler also bagged the Man of the Match award.

Mujeeb Ur Rahman:

Mujeeb Ur Rahman was able to defend 17 runs in the last over.

The Afghanistan spinner continues to flummox the opposition batsmen. The young lad went for only 25 runs and took two wickets as well – to seal the match for Kings XI Punjab.
