Team India skipper Virat Kohli has been in the form of his life. He notched his 35th ODI century against South Africa in Centurion on Friday.

Leading from the front, Kohli helped India to secure a 5-1 series victory against the Proteas. It was for the very first time India scripted history in the Rainbow Nation.

The appreciation and admiration have got no boundaries for Kohli. People from every quarter are congratulating the prominent face of the world cricket. The record, Kohli boasts of is something which even cricketers doesn’t dream of in the twilghlight of their career.

The 29-year-old Kohli has been praised by the Pakistan Women cricketers following his 35th ODI century at the SuperSport Park during the sixth One-day International.

The wonder boy has been so dominating in the series that the Proteas haven’t found an answer to stop him. He smashed unbeaten 129 off 96 deliveries which included 19 fours and two sixes.

In the process, Kohli also became the fastest cricketer to score 17,.000 international runs. He finished the series with a staggering average of nearly 200, scoring 558 runs in six matches.

Even during the Test series in the Rainbow Nation, Kohli was the only centurion from the series despite India losing the three-match series by a 2-1 margin. It was his fearless attitude which instilled the confidence in the team to make a comeback in the third and the final Test before losing the first two Tests.

However, in both those matches, India gave some tough competition to the hosts but eventually ended up on the losing side.

Moreover, the confidence which they got from winning the 3rd Test gave them the much-needed morale booster which enabled them to make a sensational turnaround in the limited overs format.
