Pakistani Cricketer Fawad Alam blessed with a baby girl

The 32-year-old Pakistani all-rounder has been blessed with a baby girl earlier today.

Alam took to Twitter to announce the news. Along with a picture of himself with the newly born girl, Alam posted a message. Alam thanked the almighty for introducing him to her daughter.

“Allah has blessed me with His most beautiful Rehmet in the universe, introducing my daughter. Begum is well and all smiles Alhumdulilah,” Alam wrote on Twitter.

Fawad last played in the red ball format way back in 2009 and had played his last ODI in 2015. However, in a recent interview, Fawad admitted that he is confident of making a comeback. He revealed that he wants to make the maximum use of whatever opportunities he gets. The 32-year-old revealed that he has been working hard to get better with his bowling. Further, he thinks staying fit will help score big runs. This could probably help him have the edge over the other players.

Alam has represented Pakistan in 65 matches across all formats since his debut at the age of 21. He has a decent average in the ODI and Test cricket playing a valuable role.
