PCB Unveils New Jersey For the T20I series against New Zealand

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has unveiled its new kit for the upcoming T20I tour to New Zealand. Pakistan will be fighting out with the Black Caps in their backyard in the limited overs series which comprises of 5 ODIs and 3 T20 international matches scheduled to start from January 6 at Wellington with a fifty-over match.

Many Pakistan cricketers including skipper Sarfaraz Khan was present at the event to unveil the new jersey.

The latest jersey has the Pepsi logo along with the national symbol on the front side of the shirt. It is a lot different from the Pakistan cricket team jersey in the one-day international matches. The players would be raring to take the field in the T20I series contest with the new set of layers.

PCB also announced PTCL as the new co-sponsor for the Pakistan Cricket team.

It would be a crucial series for Pakistan which will be their first limited-overs series away from their home after their Champions Trophy victory in England. Experienced campaigners in fast bowler Mohammad Amir and opening batsman Azhar Ali will return to the ODI squad for the New Zealand tour from their respective injuries.

However, left-arm spinner Imad Wasim and left-arm fast bowler Junaid Khan who was forced to pull out of the contest due to injuries. Uncapped bowler Aamer Yamin and spinner Mohammad Nawaz were also named in the 15-man ODI squad.

Sarfaraz Khan led Pakistan team will look to extend their winning run in the limited over matches when they take on the Kiwis next year.
