The modern game of cricket is full of cricketers with a bulky physique and ability to smash the ball into two halves. These cricketers through sheer power might clear the grounds without any essence of timing.

But when it comes to touch players like Rohit Sharma, the element of elegance is one worth noticing in his hits for maximums.

Rohit ‘Hitman’ Sharma has the ability to hit colossal sixes which makes viewers wonder where he gets his power from. The Hitman is all about timing and lazy elegance without much use of effort and power. The ball flies off the bat, giving catching practice to the men in the stands.

In the series opener between India and South Africa at Kingsmead, Durban, Rohit Sharma yet again displayed his class while hitting a maximum off a short ball from Morne Morkel. Chasing a target of 270, the opening bowlers Rabada and Morkel gave nothing away in the first couple of overs of the Indian inning.

With pressure creeping in on the Indian openers, Morkel tried to bowl a bouncer in the third ball of the third over to rattle the Mumbai batsman. However, the majestic right-hander nonchalantly swivelled across the line of the ball to pull Morkel over the square leg boundary for a six, releasing the pressure off the Indians for a period of time.

Virat Kohli, watching the action from the pavilion, appeared absolutely in awe of Sharma’s grace while hitting the pull shot off a steep bouncer and provided us with yet another priceless reaction. Here’s a look at the snippet covering the entire event.
