Looks like Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s recent wedding has grabbed the headlines all over the world. The couple, after a courtship of almost three years, tied the knot on December 11 in Italy and have been all over the news since then.

The couple got married in a private affair but have not shied away from being in public since then. From sharing wedding photos and honeymoon pictures, the newlyweds have set the social media abuzz in the last few weeks. Recently, they hosted a couple of wedding receptions in Delhi and Mumbai respectively before jetting off to South Africa together where India will take on the Proteas in a full-fledged series.

The couple will reportedly spend the new year together before the Bollywood actress returns to the country and the India batting star looks forward to the series. And to ensure that the couple enjoys their stay in the rainbow nation, Cricket South Africa (CSA) is all set to make the newlyweds stay memorable and special.

“We are very happy to host the couple. India and South Africa have always shared special relationship. The year 2018 will serve as a testimony to the ties between the two countries. We haven’t received any special requests from the newlyweds, but we will strive to make their stay a special one,” CSA CEO Thaban Moroe said as the couple landed in South Africa, reported Asian Age.

Meanwhile, the three-match Test series will get underway from January 5 in Capetown. India is yet to win a Test series in African country in six attempts but expectations are sky-high from the Virat Kohli-led team which has registered a record nine consecutive series wins and is yet to lose a series under their skipper.
