Sanjay Kapoor Spotted at Pakistan Super League Match in Dubai

The Indian players are not allowed by the BCCI to play any T20 leagues across the world. Hence they are not part of the ongoing Pakistan Super League played in Dubai. Despite the absence of the Indian players, Bollywood actor Sanjay Kapoor travelled to Dubai to watch of the opening ceremony of the 3rd edition of the tournament.

Speaking to Geo Tv, Sanjay Kapoor said, “glad to be part of the PSL 3”, noting that the spirits in the stadium were high. Sanjay is the brother of veteran Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor. Sanjay was in Dubai for his nephew’s wedding which was held a couple of days before the match in Dubai.

He decided to stay back for the PSL match between Peshawar Zalmi and Multan Sultans. His friend Javed Afridi who is the owner of the Zalmi had sent a special invitation top him for the match. The festive visit in Dubai also forced him to extend his visit.

Sanjay was seen supporting Peshawar Zalmi and was sporting the team’s cap as well. When asked which was his most favourite thing about Peshawar it was the name of the city itself. He is in a joyous mood.Nevertheless, he seemed to be in a joyous mood. “Whether it be Pakistan or India, cricket is popular in both countries,” he said, adding that at present, his favourite player is Virat Kohli since he is the best cricketer.
