Updated - 16 Mar 2018, 05:35 PM
Former Indian cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar came in the firing line of trolls yet again after he posted a relatively normal tweet from his official twitter handle on Thursday. The cricketer turned commentator shared a picturesque photo of Colombo with a caption,”Give Mumbai a nice scrub and you will get Colombo”.

Just after the tweet, there were numerous users who started trolling the former cricketer for his post. Meanwhile some other were making a fun at their expense. Meanwhile, Manjrekar recently launched his autobiography named “Imperfect”. He was trolled just a day back when he had criticized the tagline of the inaugural edition of the franchise based Mumbai T20 League.
‘Aamhi Mumbaikar, Aamhi Cricketkar’ has to the worst tagline ever. What were they thinking!?#MumbaiT20league
— Sanjay Manjrekar (@sanjaymanjrekar) March 13, 2018
‘Aamhi Mumbaikar, Aamhi Cricketkar’ has the worst slogan ever. What were they thinking! Mumbai T20 league,” Manjrekar wrote on his twitter handle. Legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar is the brand ambassador of the league. The Master is seen mouthing the slogan in a TV Commercial. It is a matter of pride for all the Mumbaikars to have Sachin Tendulkar as the brand ambassador of the tournament. In response to Manjrekar’s remarks, some of the fans and Twitter users started trolling him.
One of the fans wrote that the association of Sachin Tendulkar with the tournament is enough for them to watch all the matches. “We can’t think too much about that, we see there is our god @sachin_rt who is the reason to watch the series,” while another online user wrote, “You are thinking too much,” a Twitter user wrote.
We can't think to much about that, we only see there is our god @sachin_rt who is the reason to watch series#MumbaiT20league

This is not the first time that Manjrekar has been trolled on social networking sites. He has received criticism for his awkward tweets and given Manjrekar’s mature it won’t stop anytime soon.
Meanwhile, India is currently in Sri Lanka competing in a T20I tri-nation series also featuring hosts Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. The Men in Blue are the only team to qualify for the final. The winner of today’s match between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka will meet India in the final of the tournament.
