Shahid Afridi might look one of the most serious characters on the cricket field but the latest video has shown a different facet of the maverick allrounder’s personality. The 37-year old Afridi is rarely seen in a jolly mood on the cricket field.

However, the video which has gone viral revealed the former Pakistan skipper has a different personality than what most of the fans’ perception.  It all happened when Afridi along with Shoaib Malik attended the unveiling of Pakistan Super League (PSL) trophy in Dubai on Tuesday.

Team captains in the form of Darren Sammy, Shoaib Malik, Imad Wasim, Brendon McCullum, Misbah-ul-Haq and Sarfraz Ahmed joined Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief Najam Sethi, for the press conference.

And although Afridi is not a captain, he too joined the fellow players on the stage. And it soon became clear as to why the allrounder attended the show.

The cameras soon caught an awkward moment between Afridi and Multan Sultans’ skipper Shoaib Malik. Afridi was seen hitting Malik on his manhood with his phone.

One of the officials then soon came and asked Shahid Afridi to take his seat which cut short the funny moment.

Here is a clip of that video:

Meanwhile, the fans did not waste much time in reacting to the video. As expected, the responses were as hilarious as one could expect.

The upcoming third season of PSL is set to begin on February 22 in the UAE. The tournament will conclude on March 25. Six teams – Peshawar Zalmi, Lahore Qalandars, Quetta Gladiators, Islamabad United, Karachi Kings, and Multan Sultans will fight for the trophy. Afridi will play for Karachi Kings in the upcoming season.
