Twitter Reactions: Kings XI Punjab Restrict Sunrisers Hyderabad To a Below Par Score

A tight bowling display from Kings XI Punjab has kept Sunrisers Hyderabad score in check. The sunrisers managed an below par 132/6 in their 20 overs. Punjab should favor chasing this total down with the fire power in their batting lineup despite the bowling strength of SRH.

Having won the toss and chose to field, Kings XI Punjab bowling was fired up by young Indian pacer Ankit Rajpoot. He took three wickets inside power play and sent Hyderabad’s top order back to the pavilion.

Manish Pandey and Shakib Al Hasan rode their luck. The latter was caught at third man but Sran was guilty for bowling a no ball. On the other hand, Manish Pandey had made the most out of his luck. He got dropped on three different occasions during the innings.

He eventually managed to score an important fifty and guide Sunrisers Hyderabad to a respectable total. Spin duo Ravichandran Ashwin and Mujeeb Rahman shined once again with the ball in an all round bowling effort from Punjab.

The fielding has been quite poor by Kings XI Punjab as they dropped nearly five catches over the course of the innings. Ankit Rajpoot was the star bowler after picking up five wickets.

I think @SunRisers should make two changes, Alex Hales for Wriddhiman Saha and Bhuvneshwar Kumar for Mohammed Nabi to Balance. Because @SunRisers need a powerful start and from 7 Matches Wriddhiman did not help in Batting except for Wicket keeping. @IPL @VIVOIPL_2018
