Twitterati Mercilessly Troll Ravi Shastri For Late Wedding Wish to Newlyweds Virat Kohli & Anushka Sharma

Even the smallest of a goof up is not spared nowadays on social media and Team India head coach Ravi Shastri would agree to it. The former India all-rounder was trolled mercilessly on Twitter, and the reason was the delay he made in wishing Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma for their wedding.
Congratulatory messages poured in from all corners since both Kohli and Anushka posted messages on Twitter which read:
“Today we have promised each other to be bound in love for ever. We are truly blessed to share the news with you.This beautiful day will be made more special with the love and support of our family of fans & well wishers. Thank you for being such an important part of our journey.”

The cricketer and the actress, who were dating each other since the last four years, tied the knot in Italy on last Monday (December 11) and since then ‘Virushka’, as the fans fondly call them, has become the talk of the town.
Eminent personalities from the film fraternity, sports and fans came together to wish the couple a happy married life collectively. However, Shastri, for reasons known only to him, poured the wishes on the couple on December 16, five days after the much-talked about wedding.

Meanwhile, in a recent interview, Shastri revealed he came to know about the wedding just ten days before it.
“About ten days ago. I have sent him a message so we will catch up when he is back,” Shastri told News 18. I have messaged him a couple of times to congratulate him and Anushka. I mean they have been going around for a while so ya very happy for him.”
Well, Shastri will catch up with the newlyweds when they host a reception in Mumbai on 26th of this month. The couple will host two reception, the first one on December 21 for their relatives and the other one in Mumbai for their colleagues.
