Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma return from Finland to host the Delhi reception

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma stormed the world of Media with their wedding on 11th December 2017. The Superstar couple followed it up with their honeymoon in Finland, Europe. The wedding was an all private affair with no celebrities present on occasion. Only a handful of guests including very close friends and family were part of the special day.

However, the couple is set to host a grand reception in New Delhi for stretched friends and family. It will be followed by another big celebration in Mumbai where we will see Bollywood superstars and dignitaries from the cricket fraternity grace the occasion.

2017 has been a tremendous year for Virat Kohli which has been filled with success. The aggressive batsman registered a mammoth 2818 runs to his name smashing 11 centuries in the process. He also smashed double hundreds in two consecutive Tests justifying his label as the very best in the world. Kohli became the 3rd Indian batsman to score six double hundreds in Test cricket after the legendary Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag. The Indian skipper is set to end the year at the top of the ICC rankings in the One Day and Twenty twenty formats. However, he sits at the second spot as far as Tests are concerned after Aussie skipper Steve Smith, who aces the chart.

However, the couple is now back to Delhi, and a picture of them is currently breaking the internet. While Anushka Sharma looked like a princess straight out of the pages of a storybook, Virat Kohli looked dashing in white Indian traditional. After the remaining celebrations, Virat Kohli will travel to South Africa to face one of the toughest challenges in his career. The Indian team has won 9 successive Test series under Kohli, but this will be his toughest obstacle. Anushka will accompany Kohli throughout the tour which will a be a big moral boost for Kohli.
