The month of December ended the speculations surrounding the marriage of Team India skipper Kohli and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma as the power couple tied the knot in a private ceremony on 11thth December. Since then Virat Kohli has been throwing parties. The duo is currently in South Africa where India is scheduled to play a full tour comprising of 3 Tests, 6 ODI’s and 3 T20I’s.

While Kohli will be joining the team with the 1st Test scheduled to begin on 5th January, Anushka, on the other hand, will be returning to India in the first week of January. She will start preparing for ‘Sui Dhagga’ as the shooting for the same starts in February 2018. Anushka will be busy with the promoting and marketing of Pari which is scheduled to release on 9th February.

It will be Virat Kohli’s first assignment as an international player and a captain post marriage. However, they ended up meeting an unlikely friend in South Africa. The power couple was spotted with Akshay Kumar who is also in the country with his family. Anushka and Akshay were seen together in the cricketing flick Patiala House, and till date, it remains the only movie which the duo has done together.

Virat Kohli-led Indian side, who are practicing indoors, was in prolific form in 2017 and ended up winning every series across all three formats of the game during the year. Despite their unprecedented run across formats in 2017, the Men in Blue will have their work cut out and will have played out of their skin to return with a series victory from the rainbow nation.

India hasn’t won a Test series and has a poor record in South Africa, and the young Indian brigade needs to bring out the top level cricket to give the visitors a chance to win their first series in South Africa.
