Watch: AB de Villiers' Monstrous Six Out Of M Chinnaswamy Stadium

There are very few sights in world cricket better than AB de Villiers in full flow. The South Africa star can blow away any opposition when in mood and Chennai Super Kings faced his wrath in the ongoing game. De Villiers walked into bat when Virat Kohli was dismissed cheaply. And he did not take long to prove his worth in gold. He took the Super Kings’ attack to the cleaners right from the word go as he soon eased the pressure off his team.

His compatriot Imran Tahir was not spared either. In fact, Tahir conceded the biggest six of the night. In the eleventh over of the innings,  de Villiers hit the first ball for a four. The next ball was a dot but it was just the silence before the storm. The very next ball was hit for a six. The best of the lot, however, was yet to come. On the very following delivery, de Villiers hit another maximum which went all the way out of the stadium. The commentators exclaiming ‘Oh my god’ in utter surprise perfectly summed up the incredible shot which measured 111 meter distance.

Here is a clip showing that shot:
