Watch: MS Dhoni Hides His Face From Fans, Sakshi In Playful Mood As Couple Enjoys The Break

After a gruelling few months in international cricket, Mahendra Singh Dhoni is making the most of the much-needed break. The former India skipper, who has already retired from Tests, was in action for quite some time now. A busy outing in the Indian Premier League, where his team Rising Pune Supergiant made it to the summit clash, was followed by the Champions Trophy in England and the tour of West Indies.

He got a mini-break during the Test series against Sri Lanka before returning to action during the limited-overs leg of the tour. It was soon followed by the ODIs and T20Is against Australia and New Zealand respectively. With India now gearing up to take on Sri Lanka in the three-Test series, Dhoni has got the opportunity to freshen himself up, and he is fully cashing in on it. He recently travelled to Dubai to inaugurate his first global cricket academy.

Dhoni is also using the break to spend some quality time with his family. And the World Cup-winning skipper is now  desperate to stay away from all the attention during the break, at least the latest Instagram video posted by his wife Sakshi Dhoni suggests the same. In the video, Dhoni could be seen hiding his face with a towel in the flight as his fans try to catch a glimpse of him.

Dhoni positively takes criticism:

Meanwhile, the 36-year old has responded brilliantly to the recent criticisms that have been directed towards him after his knock in the second T20 International against New Zealand. Dhoni had failed to play according to the situation in the match which India lost by 40 runs and several former cricketers including VVS Laxman, and Ajit Agarkar had said that the wicketkeeper-batsman should quit T20Is.

“Everybody has views in life and it should be respected,” Dhoni had said at the launch of the MS Dhoni Cricket Academy in Dubai. “I have always felt that sports is one way of learning about life. How you deal with disappointments, how you are supposed to come in front of people when you have either you have won or lost a game. At the same time, how you stand up to criticism, and how you have an open mind about learning and improving yourself.”
