It looks like Sachin Tendulkar is good not only on the cricket field but also off it as the legendary cricketer donned the chef’s hat on New Year’s Eve to cook a delicious meal for his friends.

Sachin’s love for food is well known. Who can forget that he was gorging upon a bowl of ice-cream before coming out to bat against Pakistan during the 2003 World Cup and had gone on to hit a glorious 98 off just 75 balls? There are also stories that suggest that the Master Blaster had cooked baingan ka bharta for his entire team at Ajay Jadeja’s house back in 1997-98.

Well, the batting legend is now retired from the game and is making sure to enjoy his time to the fullest. Tendulkar took to Twitter to post a video where he could be seen barbecuing for his mates. The most decorated batsman of India went on to give full marks to his recipe as he, while wishing everyone a happy new year, wrote:

“It was a pleasure to cook for my friends on New Year’s Eve. I am glad all of them enjoyed and are still licking their fingers ? Hope you all had a great New Year’s Eve as well. Wishing you all a fantastic 2018. Stay blessed always.

Tendulkar bowed out of the game after serving the nation for well over two decades and representing India in a world record 200 Tests, and 463 ODIs. He retired with almost all the major batting records to his name. The only player to have scored 100 international centuries, the first batsman to score a double century in ODIs, the holder of the record for the most number of runs in both ODI and Test cricket, Tendulkar is the most decorated batsman in the history of the game.
