DRS expands as the Decision Review System, however, the Indian fans expand it as Dhoni Review System. We have seen in the past that MS Dhoni generally gets hits the nail on the head with his DRS call. In fact, Dhoni was once again right on the money when he decided to send the decision upstairs. Yuzvendra Chahal was able to trap Pakistan southpaw batsman Imam-ul-Haq in front, however, the umpire ruled the decision in favour of the batsman.

Dhoni carries an X-Ray in his eyes and the track record of his DRS is almost cent per cent. Therefore, we have seen that the captain generally goes for the review when MS Dhoni gives it a green signal.

Dhoni Review System hits the bullseye once again.

Thus, Dhoni who had a clear view of the angle told Indian captain Rohit Sharma to go for the view. It was all good on the Hawkeye as there were three reds and the on-field umpire had to reverse his decision. Thus, India was able to scalp their first wicket of the day.

Therefore, India had a fine start to Pakistan’s first innings. Earlier in the day, Sarfraz Ahmed won the toss and decided to bat first.

After Imam’s dismissal, India was able to take two more wickets to put their noses in front. Kuldeep Yadav was able to trap Fakhar Zaman in front on the wickets. However, Zaman didn’t go for the review despite getting a glove to the ball.

Furthermore, India was able to get another imperative wicket of Babar Azam. Sarfraz Ahmed first called Azam for a single and then sent him back to gift his partner wicket. Consequently, Pakistan is reeling at 77 for the loss of three wickets.

Meanwhile, India had won the first against Pakistan in the ongoing Asia Cup by eight wickets.

Here is how Twitter reacted to MS Dhoni’s DRS call:
