SL vs BAN Head to Head Records, Sri Lanka’s Head-to-Head Record Against Bangladesh– Asia Cup 2022, Match 5. Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will square off in their next encounter of Asia Cup 2022. SL vs BAN clash takes place on September 1 (Thursday).

The venue of the clash is Dubai International Cricket Stadium in UAE. Dasun Shanaka leads Sri Lanka in the tournament while Shakib Al Hasan leads Bangladesh. Both teams are part of group B in the tournament. Afghanistan is another team part of the same group.

Sri Lanka lost to Afghanistan by 8 wickets in their opening match of Asia Cup 2022. It was a one-sided game in which Afghanistan totally outplayed Sri Lanka. With their deadly bowling attack, Afghanistan bowled out Sri Lanka for 105. Bhanuka Rajapaksa and Chamika Karunaratne scored the most 38 and 31 runs for the team.

Later, Hazratullah Zazai and Rahmanullah Gurbaz gave an outstanding start to Afghan’s batting. With their 83-run opening partnership, Afghanistan easily managed to chase down the target with 8 wickets to spare. Pacer Fazalhaq Farooqi won the man of the match award for his 3-wicket haul.
