Kuldeep Sen is another player who should have been picked for BGT 2023 due to his performance in Vijay Hazare Trophy 2022. The right-arm pacer picked 18 wickets in just 6 games in the tournament at an economy of 5.34 playing for Madhya Pradesh.

He was the joint-second-highest wicket-taker in the tournament. Sen also made his international debut in an ODI against Bangladesh last year.
