Shubman Gill Joins Suresh Raina And KL Rahul In Elite List
The first batsman to set this record was Suresh Raina in 2010, who recorded a century on his Test debut. KL Rahul joined Raina on this list in 2016. When Rahul made his white-ball appearances two years after his Test debut, it was in 2014. On his ODI debut against Zimbabwe, he hit a century.
Rahul and Raina were joined on the list by Rohit Sharma in 2017. To join this distinguished list, Gill achieved a century after six years in all forms. In 2023, the young player will have three ODI centuries, one T20I century, and one Test century. The double-century against New Zealand is among the three ODI tonnes.
