During the pre-match press conference, a journalist asked Hardik Pandya if he will bowl his full quota of 10 overs during IND vs AUS 1st ODI. To this, the all-rounder replied that that’s a secret and he won’t reveal it.
“That’s a secret, why would I say here. Let them (Australia) prepare that I might not bowl as well. Whatever the situation requires I will do it. If I think I can bowl more, I will bowl,” Hardik Pandya said.

The 29-year-old all-rounder also said that Team India will have a new set of openers for the IND vs AUS 1st ODI. Due to Rohit Sharma’s absence, Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan will open the innings for the team.
The venue of India vs Australia 1st ODI is Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. While Sharma is not part of the match, key players like Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja, KL Rahul, Mohammed Shami, and Mohammed Siraj are part of India’s squad.
Shreyas Iyer is a crucial player who has been ruled out of the India vs Australia ODI series due to a back injury. India defeated Australia in the Test series 2-1 and will now aim to outplay them in the ODI series as well. On the other hand, the visitors, led by Steve Smith, will aim to make a comeback in the ODI series.
