From the looks of it Kuldeep Yadav is bound to have one interesting conversation with Indian skipper Rohit Sharma in the Indian dressing room when this game comes to an end. The bowler was a part of two ironic incidences with the Indian skipper in one where he totally ignored Rohit Sharma and refused to take a review, the other where he persuaded his captain to go for a review which turned out to be a bust.

Earlier in the day, could have apparently picked up another wicket to his name in the 25th over as the bowler managed to trap Alex Carey in front of the stumps with a googly. However, umpire Nitin Menon did not look interested in the appeal as Indian skipper Rohit Sharma alongside Virat Kohli were talking amongst each other to take the decision upstairs when Kuldeep Yadav outright denied their call as he returned to his crease not being interested to review the decision.

Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma were left stunned and visibly frustrated by the decision as a wicket of Alex Carey at that moment would have pushed Australia in the backfoot with half the side back in the dugout.

Following the incident, Kuldeep was involved in yet another DRS drama this time in the closing moments of the game. After picking up the wicket of Alex Carey in the 38th over, Kuldeep felt like he had struck again and wanted to go for a review for Ashton Agar, but it was Rohit Sharma who had to be persuaded into taking a review which turned out to be a bust.

Kuldeep Yadav in the same over had trapped Agar in front of the wickets but the umpire did not seem interested by the appeal, Kuldeep who was looking for another wicket to his name asked Rohit Sharma to go for the review which did not turn out in favor of the Indian side.
Australia at the end of their innings have put up 269 runs on the board in 49 overs and will be looking to defend the total against their opposition with their bowlers firing on all cylinders.
