The third and the final ODI of the three-match series is slowly coming down to its conclusion. As of writing, India now just need 110 runs off the remaining 20 overs to clinch the win and bag the series 2-1. Virat Kohli has been in sublime touch so far in this innings as the Indian talisman is currently batting on 50 runs off 63 deliveries and will be eyeing to finish things and hopefully get another ton to his name.

After losing Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill early despite a good start, Virat Kohli brought the innings back on track alongside KL Rahul as the two batters stitched together a 69 runs partnership for the third wicket. Following Rahul’s dismissal India decided to send Axar Patel up the order but the all-rounder had a horrendous mix-up with Virat Kohli that resulted in a run-out.

With Hardik Pandya in the middle alongside Virat, India will now look to finish things off without taking the game in too deep and give Australia a chance to make a comeback in this game.

With the game getting heated between the two sides, we got a glimpse of the India-Australia rivalry as Virat Kohli who was walking to the striker’s end slammed his shoulders into Marcus Stoinis who refused to move out of the way, which saw Virat give the all-rounder a stern glare as the two walked away from each other.

With the game slowly reaching its boiling point, it will be interesting to see if India can manage to keep their hold over the game and get past the finish line. Virat Kohli who is currently the set batter on the crease will look to stand tall till the end and finish things for India.
