Mohammed Shami on Mohammed Siraj
Mohammed Shami & Mohammed Siraj were seen having a candid chat after the end of the match where Shami asked Siraj about his wicket celebration.
“I have a question for you as well. Can you tell us what is the secret behind your celebration,” said Mohammed Shami.
“My celebration is simple. I’m a fan of Cristiano Ronaldo so I try to follow him. When a batter is bowled I celebrate the wicket in that fashion, but if he is caught at fine leg or similar fielding position I don’t do it,” replied Mohammed Siraj.
Mohammed Shami gave a stunning response to Siraj’s celebration.
“Ek advice hain, acha baat hain aap kisi k fan hain. As a fast bowler aapko yeh jumpo se thoda sa duur rehna chahiye.” (I want to give you an advice. It’s good that you are someone’s fan. But as a fast bowler you need to keep yourself away from such jumps)” said Mohammed Shami.

Concerns for Australia
It would be interesting to see whether Mitchell Marsh will open the batting in the 2nd ODI as he played a blistering knock of 81 runs in 65 balls where he struck 10 fours & 5 sixes. It won’t be a bad idea to make Travis Head bat into the middle order & let David Warner (*didn’t play 1st ODI) and Marsh opens the innings.
The Men in Blue would be worried as once again their middle order got exposed. With Rohit Sharma returning for the 2nd ODI, it looks unlikely that both Ishan Kishan & Suryakumar Yadav would feature in the playing 11. It was a near-perfect day for the bowling unit.
