CPL 2021 Schedule, Live Telecast Channel In India, Updated Points Table. CPL 2021 witnessed two exciting matches on Thursday (September 10). In the first match, Trinbabgo Knight Riders defeated Babarbados Royals to claim their 5th straight victory in the tournament. In the second encounter, Jamaica Tallawahs defeated Saint Lucia Kings. The two results have brought notable changes to the CPL 2021 updated points table.

In the Barbados Royals vs Trinbago Knight Riders match of Caribbean Premier League 2021, the former batted first and could only score 93-9 in 20 overs. Kyle Mayers scored most 24 runs while none of the batsmen managed to hit a big knock. Later, Trinbago Knight Riders chased the target with ease by 6 wickets. Although Riders’ openers Lendl Simmons (0) and Tion Webster (9) fell cheaply, Colin Munro’s unbeaten 41 runs were enough to clinch victory for the team.

In the second match, Jamaica Tallawahs smacked a mammoth knock of 211-10 batting first. Rather than a single-player smacking a big knock, it was a group effort by the team to pile up such a mountainous total on the scoreboard. Kennar Lewis (56), Shamarh Brooks (34), Andre Russell (31) played crucial knocks for the team. In response, Saint Lucia Kings were bowled out for just 156 in the 2nd innings, losing the match by 55 runs.

In CPL 2021 updated points table, Trinbago Knight Riders have moved to the top spot with 10 points. St Kitts and Nevis Patriots, who retained their top spot for a long time, have slipped to the 2nd spot. However, they have equal 10 points as that of Riders. CPL 2021 Venue, Teams, and Format

• All the matches of CPL 2021 are scheduled to be played at the same venue which is Warner Park in St. Kitts and Nevis.
• Six teams are part of the tournament which are Barbados Tridents, Guyana Amazon Warriors, Jamaica Tallawahs, St Kitts and Nevis Patriots, St. Lucia Kings, and Trinbago Knight Riders
• CPL 2021 will witness a double round-robin format i.e. each team will play against other teams twice during the group stage. The top 4 teams will compete in the semi-finals after the group stage.
• The tournament will commence on August 26 and end with the final on September 15, 2021.
