CPL 2021: Trinbago Knight Riders vs Barbados Royals- When and Where to Watch and Live Streaming Details. After staying unbeaten for the entire CPL 2020 campaign, Tringbago Knight Riders have suffered a defeat in their very first game of the CPL 2021 season. They lost their first game of the tournament against Guyana Amazon Warriors by 9 runs. Guyana Amazon Warriors batted first and notched 142 runs in 20 overs. Shimron Heymyer played a brilliant 54-run knock off 41 balls to guide the team to a competitive total.
Akeal Hosein and Sunil Narine claimed two wickets apiece, while Jayden Seales, Rampaul, and Udana picked one wicket each. In reply, Trinbago Knight Riders were restricted to 133 and thus fell short of 9 runs. The Knight Riders were guilty of not converting the starts into big scores. Dinesh Ramdin top-scored with 28 off 25 balls. Skipper, Kieron Pollard got out after scoring 2 runs off 7 balls.

Trinbago Knight Riders will play their next game against Barbados Royals, who are coming off a defeat in their last game at the hands of St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots. Barbados Royals’ bowlers were smashed all across the park by Sherfane Rutherford and Dwayne Bravo as St. Kitts and Patriots scored 175 runs in the first innings. Skipper Jason Holder gave away 45 runs in 4 overs with 1 wicket to his name. Mohammad Amir and Oshane Thomas, however, bowled well. Thomas was the pick of the bowlers as he returned with figures of 3 for 22 in 4 overs.
175 was perhaps too big a score for Barbados to chase down. Shai Hope showed some fight, scoring 44 off 38 balls, while Azam Khan and Hayden Walsh too smashed a few sixes. But Barbados Royals, in the end, fell short of 21 runs.
Trinbago Knight Riders will play against Barbados Royals in the fourth match of CPL 2021 on Saturday. Both teams would look to open their account in the competition.
