Captain Harmanpreet Kaur leads a group of Indian players who have risen quickly in the ICC Women’s ODI Player Rankings after a 3-0 whitewash of England in their ICC Women’s Championship (IWC) series.

In the second encounter in Canterbury, Kaur hit a match-winning 143 not out off 111 deliveries against England.

Danny Wyatt of England, who scored 65 in the second game, has moved up two spots to take over the 21st batter spot, while Amy Jones has moved up four spots to 30th. Charlie Dean has moved up 24 spots to land in the 62nd spot among batters and one spot to land in the 19th spot among bowlers.

After scoring 88 runs and taking five wickets in a 2-1 series victory over New Zealand, West Indies captain Hayley Matthews has taken over the top spot among all-rounders in the ODI format for the first time in her career. In addition, Mathews, who previously ranked first among all-rounders in T20 Internationals, has climbed three spots to 18th among batters and two spots to sixth among bowlers.

Mandhana, a previous top-ranked batter who scored 40 and 50 in the two matches, has moved up one spot to claim a sixth place, while Sharma has moved up eight spots to 24th place thanks to her unbeaten 68 not out in the third match at Lord’s.

Other Indian players who have moved up the batters’ list are Pooja Vastrakar (up four spots to 49th) and Harleen Deol (up 46 spots to 81st), while Renuka Singh has rocketed 35 spots to reach 35th place after picking up four wickets in each of the two matches. Former top-ranked fast bowler Jhulan Goswami retired in fifth place.
