Rahul Chahar is the first player on this list. Chahar made his T20I debut under Kohli and played some T20I games for India. He was also part of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021. The right-arm spinner played 6 T20Is and 1 ODI for India, picking 7 and 3 wickets respectively.

However, after his short stint, he completely vanished from the national team. Now, Rahul Chahar is not even considered in the squad for the international series.

2. T Natarajan

T Natarajan is another player whose career was affected by Virat Kohli. T Natarajan made his international debut in December 2020 during an ODI game against Australia. Under skipper Kohli, the left-arm medium-pacer played a few games.

Appearing in 1 Test, 2 ODIs, and 4 T20Is, the SRH pacer picked 3, 3, and 7 wickets respectively. However, even after his magnificent performance, he was never given another chance in the national team. Currently, Natarajan is totally out of the selectors’ eyesight for the national team.

Prithvi Shaw is another player whose career was ruined by Virat Kohli. Shaw impressed with his international debut in 2018, after playing some good knocks at the start of his career. However, after playing 5 Tests, 6 ODIs, and 1 T20I, the right-handed batsman was ousted from the national team.

The 23-year-old youngster last played an international game in July 2021. Later, he was never picked for any match even after good shows in IPL and domestic cricket in the last two years.
