2. Promoting Himself At No.5 During ODI WC 2011 Final
During ICC ODI World Cup 2011 final, India were chasing 275 batting second. Yuvraj Singh had batted at the no.5 spot during the tournament. However, when Virat Kohli got dismissed, MS Dhoni came out to bat at the no.5 spot instead of Yuvraj Singh. India needed 161 more runs for victory when Dhoni came out to bat. Dhoni managed the responsibility well and smashed unbeaten 91 runs to take India to victory by 6 wickets. He also managed a great partnership with Gautam Gambhir which was very crucial for India’s victory.
