Adil Rashid and Harry Brook, two England players, will not participate in the eighth Pakistan Super League(PSL), which will start on February 13.

Rashid, who was chosen by Multan Sultans at the player drafts in December, will miss the match due to his obligations with the national team.

Due to Rashid’s absence, Multan Sultans, the 2021 champions, will now search for a replacement spinner. Conversely, the Lahore Qalandars, the defending champions, also suffered a significant setback with the loss of Harry Brook, one of their best power hitters.

The middle-order batsman contributed significantly to the Qalandars’ PSL 2022 title win with 264 runs for the squad, including a century and numerous pivotal cameos.
