Afghanistan and Zimbabwe will once again meet at Sheikh Zayed Stadium (Abu Dhabi) this Friday (19th March) during the second match of the three-match T20I series.
Currently, Afghanistan are leading this series by a 1-0 margin as they won the first T20I of this series by 48 runs.

Afghanistan started this T20I series with a dominant victory in the first game. They will secure this T20I series by managing another victory and they will try their best to achieve it in the second game.
Rahmanullah Gurbaz provided a firing start while captain Asghar Afghan also provided strong support to him. After the 80-run opening partnership with Karim Janat, Gurbaz set up another 74 runs partnership for the second wicket. While Gurbaz scored 87 off 45 balls (6 fours and 7 sixes), Asghar scored 55 off 38 balls (6 fours and 2 sixes).
Leg-spinner Rashid Khan (3/28) took three wickets in that game while Fareed Ahmad (2/31) and Karim Janat (2/14) picked up two wickets each.

Zimbabwe bowlers couldn’t take early wickets in the first innings as it costed too many runs. They bowled better in the last few overs, but it couldn’t stop the Afghanistan team to set up a big T20I total.
Opener Tinashe Kamunhukamwe while scored 44 runs, captain Sean Williams and Sikandar Raza both scored 22 runs each. However, after the first 10 overs, Zimbabwe batsmen failed to handle the pressure of the rising required run-rate as they regularly lost wickets and moved away from the game.
