Indian Cricket Team’s Star batter Ajinkya Rahane can be seen playing domestic cricket. The right-handed batter has been looking scratchy in recent times. He has been under the scanner and fans are demanding his exclusion from the team. The batter scored 250 runs in 3 Matches in Duleep Trophy and was looking quite sublime in touch.

Rahane needs to keep in mind that he is one of the senior batters; he needs to guide the batters in the middle. Head Coach Rahul Dravid would be keeping an eye on him as the duo shares a good bond. It would be very interesting to see how the batter returns as he has got enough game-time in the middle in the domestic circuit.

Ajinkya Rahane On Becoming Father Again

He announced this news on twitter handle. “This morning, Radhika and I welcomed our baby boy into the world. Both Radhika and the baby are doing well and are completely healthy. We’d like to thank you for all your love and blessings,” the batter tweeted.

Crucial Phase for Ajinkya Rahane

The right handed batter is all set to take part in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. That tournament is considered to be a mini IPL as all teams are evenly balanced. Rahane would be aware that his last edition of IPL wasn’t that promising. He needs to make the upcoming tournament count to make a case for himself in the auction.

Rahane is someone who can provide stability to the team in the middle overs phase which is priceless. There’s no doubt that he has the hitting prowess but in the recent times he has struggled to make a name for himself in T20 Arena. Rahane would be having his eyes on the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023 (before there is Bangladesh Series but that won’t be that much tough series) which would be quite important for the team and him.
