Indian captain Rohit Sharma along with his wife Ritika Sajdeh and daughter Samaira Sharma on Sunday (13th August) a paid visit to Tirupati Balaji Temple in Andhra Pradesh. The cricketer has been enjoying his time off ahead of the all-important Asia Cup 2023 and World Cup 2023.
Rohit Sharma recently arrived in India as he was captaining the team in the West Indies. Under him, India won the Test series and also won the ODI series, in which he played just one game. As a batter, he had a great outing on the tour as he was amongst the leading run-getters in the longest format of the game.
Rohit Sharma scored a magnificent century in the first Test and then followed it up with two fifties in the second game. In the ODI series, he played just one game and batted at No.7 as he allowed other players to get game time and then after that rested himself for the last two games.
After his successful stint in West Indies and ahead of the important two tournaments, Rohit made sure that he seeks blessings of almighty as he went to Tirupati Balaji Temple. The video of him visiting the holy place was all over the internet as he was seen leaving the Temple.

Asia Cup 2023: Rohit Sharma Will Go Berserk At The World Cup – Yuvraj Singh
Rohit Sharma will be one of the key players for India going into the World Cup as well as Asia Cup. But of late his form in white-ball cricket is not great and he would be hoping to turn around the things.
Yuvraj Singh recalled that even ahead of the 2019 World Cup Rohit Sharma wasn’t in the greatest touch and he did something special in the tournament. He remarked that the Indian captain can pull out similar things in this world cup as well. Speaking on the Cricket Basu YouTube channel, he explained:
“I understand that Rohit Sharma is not in the best of forms right now. Last time also before the 2019 World Cup, he was not in good form in the IPL. And I told him that something special is coming, just be in the zone. And he went on to score 4-5 hundreds in the World Cup.
“So maybe he is not in the greatest form right now because he will go berserk at the World Cup. You never know. Everything happens for a reason. The same thing happened with me, and that’s what Sachin told me.”
Rohit Sharma will be next seen in action when India will play Asia Cup 2023. They will open their campaign against Pakistan on 2nd September in Kandy.
