The Australian fast bowling combination of Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood has attained significant gains in the ICC ODI rankings for bowlers after their impressive performances. The duo picked up 16 wickets combinedly in the three games and Mitchell Starc alone picked up 11 wickets out of it in the series against West Indies.

Both the bowlers weren’t at their best at the start of the T20 international series against West Indies but they looked to have found their rhythm at the end of the T20 series which they lost and continued the confidence into the ODI series. Mitchell Starc was regularly among the wickets while Hazlewood had a phenomenal economy rate for a fast bowler.
