Bangladesh are all set to host New Zealand for the three-match ODI series ahead of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 as per the reports in Cricbuzz. The games are expected to take place at the fag end of September just ahead of the mega event, which is slated to take place from 5th October in India.
The first game of the series as per the reports will take place on 21st September followed by the second and third games to be played on 23rd and 26th September. All three games will be played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium.

After that both the teams will fly to India for the World Cup. Following that both Bangladesh and New Zealand will be again in action as they will head back for the Test series. The Kiwis will play a two-day practice game on November 23-24.
The Test series will begin on November 28 at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium. The venue will host its first Test match after five years. The second and the last match of the two-Test series will be played from December 6 to 10 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka.

“New Zealand Cricket officials are quite impressed with our facilities,” says Bangladesh Cricket Board’s director Shafiul Alam Chowdhury
The reports suggested that four members of New Zealand Cricket went to Bangladesh to inspect the wicket, security, and venue facilities. it is learned that they were impressed with the facilities.
Bangladesh Cricket Board’s director Shafiul Alam Chowdhury said that they met the requirements of the NZC and they are optimistic about hosting a Test match in Sylhet. Speaking to Cricbuzz, he said:
“We are expected to host the opening Test of the two-match series against New Zealand in November-December and this will be quite a big occasion for us as we will be hosting a Test match after five years. They (NZC representatives) are quite impressed with our facilities and it looks like we have met all their requirements.” He concluded.
