Bangladesh vs New Zealand Live Streaming, 1st T20I- New Zealand tour of Bangladesh 2021. Bangladesh will take on New Zealand in the first of the five-match T20 series at Shere-Bangla Stadium on Wednesday.

Both teams will play five matches in the upcoming T20 series. This will be the first time when the Blackcaps would be touring the Bangla Tigers for a T20 series. New Zealand are currently the number three side in the T20 rankings, while the hosts are ranked tenth.

Both teams have squared up against each other 10 times in T20 internationals. The Tigers are yet to win a T20 international against New Zealand and the upcoming five-game series is a golden opportunity for them. The hosts are in great form, of late.

They are coming into the series on the back of a sensational T20 series win against Australia by a margin of 4-1. Ahead of the upcoming series against New Zealand, senior members Mushfiqur Rahim and Liton Das would be back into the side and that should further strengthen the squad.

The onus would once again be on the likes of Shakib Al-Hasan, Muztafizur Rahman, and Mahmudullah to name a few. Shakib Al-Hasan finished as the leading run-getter in the T20 series with 156 runs in 5 matches, while Nasum Ahmed picked the most wickets with 8 to his name.

Bangladesh are up against a second-string New Zealand side. They will be playing the series without the services of prominent players such Kane Williamson, Trent Boult, Tim Southee, etc. Tom Lathan has been presented the opportunity to lead the side. The batting unit consists of the likes of Finn Allen, Tom Blundell, and Henry Nicholls to name a few.

For those of you who don’t know, New Zealand last played a three-match T20 international series against Bangladesh. They whitewashed Bangladesh by winning all three games.
