The ace all-rounder  Pakistan’s Shadab Khan has been quite brilliant for the Men in Green in the T20Is this calendar year. Shadab Khan has scored 201 runs in 20 matches at a dazzling strike rate of 154.61. With the ball, he has been at his consistent best, bagging 25 wickets at an excellent economy of 6.79. Eleven of his 25 scalps came in the T20 World Cup 2022.

In the T20 World Cup 2022, the Mianwali-born was the major strike force with the ball in the middle phases of the innings and bagged 11 wickets at a superb economy of 6.34. Shadab Khan showed his batting might in the game against South Africa when he scored 52 runs off 22 balls to turn the game on its head. Shadab Khan is definitely in the best T20I XI of 2022.

The left-arm pacer wreaked havoc with the ball in the T20 World Cup 2022, picking up 13 wickets in matches at an economy of 6.52. He had the best bowling figures in the T20 World Cup 2022 – 5/10 vs Afghanistan – and stifled Pakistan with 3/12 in the final.

The England all-rounder was adjudged the Player of the Match in the finals for his stellar performance and was also awarded the Player of the Tournament for his consistent bowling displays throughout the T20 extravaganza. He is definitely in the best T20I XI of 2022.

Joshua Little

Ireland’s Joshua Little has been quite impeccable with the ball in 2022 and is the leading wicket-taker of the year with 39 scalps to his name in 26 matches at an economy of 7.58. The pacer has made the ball talk at the start of innings and has also been impeccable with his variations at the death overs.

Arshdeep Singh featured in six games at the marquee tournament and picked 10 wickets at an economy of 7.80.
