The standard of Indian fielding has grown in leaps, and R Sridhar should take the credit for it. Bharat Arun is 58 years old now, and by the time of appointment again, he will remain under the criteria of 60 years which makes him eligible to reapply for the position. R Sridhar is 51, and he still has a long way to go in his coaching career. It is learned that both these coaches are not willing to continue with the Indian team stint, and they have been offered jobs from various IPL franchises already.
