After completing their 6-day quarantine, the Chennai Super Kings players held their first training session on Thursday at the ICC Academy in Dubai. The official Twitter handle of the Chennai Super Kings franchise shared pictures from their practice session.

The BCCI has handed the teams a 46-page health advisory describing all the details that everyone associated with the tournament should follow in order to avoid the fiasco that happened in the first half of the season in India.
Josh Hazlewood makes himself available to play for Chennai Super Kings in the UAE leg
The Chennai Super Kings CEO, Kasi Viswanathan, has confirmed to Cricbuzz that Australian pacer Josh Hazlewood is ready to play in the UAE leg of the tournament
Hazlewood had earlier pulled out of the season when it was in India in April-May. The franchise replaced him with his compatriot Jason Behrendorff.
Now with the tournament to be completed in the UAE – the same venue as the T20 World Cup – Hazlewood has made himself available. This would, however, mean that the franchise would have to release Behrendorff from their squad, according to the tournament’s replacement rule.
The lanky pacer recently made his return to Australia’s T20 setup for their tours to the West Indies and Bangladesh, and is selected in their squad for the T20 World Cup. He picked 12 wickets in 8 games on those two tours at a superb economy of 6.55.
Hazlewood made his IPL debut last season in the UAE for MS Dhoni’s side. In 3 matches he could manage just a solitary wicket, but again he was parsimonious – leaking at just 6.40 runs an over.
All teams are required to submit their final squads for the remainder of the season to the BCCI by August 20.
After a disappointing season last year – CSK failed to qualify for the playoffs for the first time – the Yellow Army roared back with 5 wins in 7 matches this year before the tournament was suspended. They will play the first match back with defending champions Mumbai Indians in Dubai.
